 What is a penguin doing on a park bench in the middle of New York's Central Park? And the other strange bird next to him, isn't that Otto? Even the German tourists passing by are astonished! And so Otto tells them the exciting story of his catastrophic trip into the far away world...
Everything began in the province of Ostfriesland: On the deathbed of Otto's beloved Grandfather, he tells his grandson that all his adventures at sea were all a big swindle. He had never been at sea - everything was only a dream, which Otto should now make true.
A suitable vessel is quickly found: It is to be the proud QUEEN HENRY. Nevertheless, how should Otto get on board? After failing the easy sailor examination, the only trick remaining is the one with the ladies choir. As a member of the OLD SPIES girl band Otto can smuggle himself under the passengers. However, he doesn't realise the ship's fate is already doomed. One catastrophe follows the next and neither Captain Lackner, nor the pretty stewardess Sonja (Eve Hassmann) nor the penguin, which should have ended up in a soup pot, can fight the danger. But soon they, too, must realize, that there is another much worse catastrophe - and that is called:
