Plot outline

Terrible murders bring anxiety and fear into a girls boarding house. Young girls die inhaling an odourless poisoned gas. But the killing takes no end. Also some young men experience agonizing deaths: their neck is broken with a whip by a creepy monk dressed in a red robe. Scotland Yard's Inspector Higgins is on high alert...
