Plot outline
Harry Barber (WOODY HARRELSON) had to sit in jail for two years - for a crime, he did not commit. After Harry is released, he doesn't have to wait long for the opportunity to settle his open deeds with the outside world. The seductive Rhea Malroux (ELISABETH SHUE) offers Harry 50,000 dollars to help kidnap her stepdaughter Odette (CHLOE SEVIGNY). An absolute fake kidnapping: Both women have sided up to oppress wealthy Felix Malroux (ROLF HOPPE) of his fortune. An easy job, Harry thinks, attracted by money and the pretty woman, but very soon wonders why he is driving a corpse around in the trunk of his car. For Harry, the days in Florida have turned from warm into a steaming hot - and the sling around his neck gets narrower and narrower.
