New-Mexico, 1898. The grand time of the wild west moves towards its end. In the south west, a feared bandit army roves, the "wild horde". "They are like a black wind, that sweeps over the prairie," says Nobody, the boy with the blue eyes and the fast hand. For him each game has only one rule: "I must win!" and that he always does. His idol is Jack Beauregard, the legendary revolver man. But as Nobody becomes acquainted with his idol, he sees that Jack is a tired man without any illusions. He wants go to New Orleans in order to return to his old homeland France with the next ship. Sullivan, a mine owner who is responsible for dirty businesses of the "wild bunch" and the death of Jacks brother, is supposed to give Jack the money for the ship passage. Yet Nobody does not want to see his hero let down like this. He must complete one last powerful accomplishment: Jack alone against the "wild bunch".
