Plot outline

The residents of a run-down, East-Berlin apartment building, momentarily manage to put a stop to Western modernization madness. Their speaker, an attractive and subtle author, discovers, that that owner of the building roams around park benches in West-Berlin as a homeless person. With dubious measures the homeless is turned into an orderly citizen, and the windy asset manager of the building is cheated out of a fortune...
